Ingredients

  • 12 oz fully cooked sliced oven-roasted deli turkey breast 3 oz per box.
  • 4 oz regular full-fat cheddar cheese 1 oz per box, cut into small pieces.
  • 4 oz whole-wheat crackers 1 oz per box; use the package serving count.
  • 1 2/3 cups carrots washed, scrubbed or peeled, cut into sticks; edible raw weight
  • 2 medium apples with skin Cored and sliced; about 14 oz edible fruit total.

Instructions

  • Pack 1 oz crackers per box in a separate dry container. Use the package serving count to portion without a scale.
  • Cover and chill the turkey, cheese and produce until serving. One serving is one complete box plus its crackers. Keep chilled with ice packs when taking it to work or school; extra dips and sweets are not included.

Notes

Four complete boxes: 84 g turkey, 28 g cheddar, 28 g crackers, 50 g carrots and 100 g edible apple each. About 290 g food per complete box before handling loss. No dips or extra sides.
